On Saturday, October 1, 2022, the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County held the most successful Heritage Ball in the 49-year history of the annual fundraiser as over 1,000 guests sold out the event at the Eastern Flank Battlefield Park.

In making the announcement, our President & CEO Bari Beasley said, “Not only was the Heritage Ball a magical night full of surprises around every corner, but our Co-Chairs Cordia and Tom Harrington joined our dedicated team to generate the most funds ever raised in the history of the Heritage Foundation. We are so thankful to our tremendous sponsors who champion our cause and the hundreds of guests who not only attended but participated in our lively auction. Heather Headley’s performance of ‘I Was Here’ was one of the highlights of the evening shedding a light on our countless preservation efforts in Williamson County.”

Arriving on the red carpet and being greeted by Inside Edition’s Megan Alexander and TV personality Allison DeMarcus, some guests were interviewed about the special evening. Monitors in the cocktail reception captured the interviews as part of the entertainment, thanks to the vision of Ball Co-chairs Cordia and Tom Harrington who strived to make guests feel like stars, as they collectively are the ones who make up the fabric of Williamson County.

An exquisite three course meal which was accented with entertainment throughout the night including a live auction followed by entertainment by Tony and Grammy Award winning artist Heather Headley who performed “I Was Here” during an immersive montage of images and videos representing the best of Williamson County and significant historical locations the Foundation has been involved with throughout the years. Imagery of Carnton, McLemore House, Morton-Brittain House, Ravenswood Mansion and Williamson County preservation icons from the past 55 years were projected on the venue ceiling for a dramatic and powerful representation. Live auction items included a GMC Yukon Denali courtesy of Reiselman Motor Company, an exclusive artist experience with renowned Erik Skoldberg, and a trip to Italy to experience an Andrea Bocelli performance. Sixwire had the crowd rocking until midnight along with the Late Party crowd courtesy of Next Gen, and all enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and dancing.

Guests also had the opportunity to have their photo taken on the luxurious red carpet.
