Spirits in Defiance: A Whiskey Trail Experience

Sunday, November 3, 2024
6-9pm
Limited to 75 guests

Spend a sultry summer night in historic Downtown Franklin within the cool walls of hotspot Stable Reserve where proprietors Beth and Cam Goodwin indulge your senses in an unforgettable evening of refined decadence at our exclusive interactive Whiskey Tasting Event! Their historic 1890’s building is steeped in history and where you will join us as we showcase the finest spirits from three award-winning Tennessee Whiskey Trail distilleries: Stable Reserve, Leiper's Fork Distillery, and Southern Spirit Collective. You cannot experience these together anywhere else in town. Your Whiskey Guide and guru will be libations expert Tiny Irwin, of Southern Whiskey Society.

Savor each sip as expertly paired menus elevate the tasting experience by renowned Chef Thomas Tuggle, tantalizing your palate with exquisite flavors and aromas. From perfectly matched hors d'oeuvres to sumptuous main courses, every bite will complement the complexity of our curated whiskey selection.

The luxury doesn't end there. Step into our inviting private cigar area, where connoisseurs can delight in the marriage of fine whiskey and premium hand-rolled cigars curated by Charles Robinson founder of Atsiniki Cigars who will be on-hand sharing details of the handmade Nicaraguan cigar process.  Robinson is a champion of exceptional cigars and a master storyteller, which is what Atsiniki translates to in Blackfoot.

Your musical guests will be the ridiculously accomplished Nashville Jazz Workshop who will play the perfect soundtrack to your evening.

As the night unfolds, immerse yourself in the art of whiskey-making as you take part in a whiskey barrel thieving. Act as your own distiller as you extract 115-proof blended and barrelled “wheated mash bill” from the Heritage Foundation's own Century Reserve barrel and then you will learn to bottle and proof your own blend complete with dipping the top in wax and stamping it yourself for your very own keepsake bottle of whiskey.

Reserve your seat at the table today!  Every ticket sold supports saving the irreplaceable places and spaces that the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County serves and protects.
