Tyrus Sturgis
Tyrus Sturgis is the Chief Officer of Advocacy & Historic Stewardship for the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, where he champions the organization’s mission to preserve and protect local history. He provides strategic oversight for all preservation initiatives and community advocacy efforts, building on his extensive background directing the Foundation’s public engagement, community events, and marketing initiatives.
Tyrus takes immense pride in leading a strong and passionate team dedicated to their work and the betterment of the community. He believes their collective commitment and shared vision drive our success and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Tyrus finds joy in international travel, particularly to Europe to watch soccer matches, where he relishes the opportunity to meet new people and experience different cultures. A devoted fan of SEC Football and the Alabama Crimson Tide, Tyrus’s love for sports adds another layer of excitement and competitiveness to his life.
In his role, Tyrus finds fulfillment in knowing that the Heritage Foundation’s work will be enjoyed by future generations and cherishes Williamson County for its people, beauty, and undeniable charm.
