SUMMARY:Building of the Month Tour: Hatcher Family Dairy
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our next Building of the Month Tour on Tuesday\, April 29 from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Hatcher Family Dairy. \nWilliam and Lucy Hatcher settled in Williamson County in 1819\, establishing roots in the small farming community of Arno\, located in the southeastern part of the county. William and Lucy’s son\, Abram Wooldridge Hatcher\, purchased the land we still own today and rebuilt the original home after it was destroyed by fire following the Civil War. The family has been farming for over 150 years\, with a focus on dairy farming. \nThe Hatcher family farm has endured through major historical events\, including the Civil War and both World Wars\, with six generations continuing to farm the land. We are excited to share the rich history of the Hatcher family with our community.
