(1984) by Angela Dominguez. Follow along as two young giraffes meet\, celebrate\, and become friends\, reminding readers of all ages how wonderful it is to make new friends and amigos. \nOur guest reader will be Ana Martinez\, Programs Director for BetterOptionsTN. BetterOptionsTN provides essential support to newcomers and community members navigating language and system barriers\, helping them move toward independence. Following the story\, children will have the opportunity to celebrate Hispanic culture through an interactive experience featuring music and dance.

The DFA is a membership-based division of the non-profit organization\, the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County\, TN. DESCRIPTION:Dickens of a Christmas recreates the time of Charles Dickens using historic downtown Franklin’s charming architecture as the backdrop. A variety of musicians\, dancers and Dickens characters will fill the streets. Expect to see and interact with the nefarious Fagin from Oliver Twist; Jacob Marley\, Ebenezer Scrooge\, Tiny Tim and the rest of the Cratchit family from A Christmas Carol; and of course\, a Victorian Father and Mother Christmas with treats for children. The festival is produced by the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County.
